Engagement Card

One of my good friends just got engaged.  I'm so excited for her and couldn't wait to make her an engagement card.  I had some really cute stamps I hadn't had a chance to use yet; this was the perfect opportunity.  Also a great time for me to do some heat embossing to create a  metal illusion.  Super easy and the results are always beautiful.

There are 3 steps to embossing:
1) Stamp your image using embossing ink.
2) Sprinkle embossing powder over the area you stamped then pour it back into the jar.
3) Go over the entire area with a heat gun until all the embossing powder is melted.

Here are a few pictures of the details.  My metal inspiration is carried through the silver embossing.

I've entered this in the November Crafting Life's Pieces, For Fun Challenges, and Sarah Hurley Challenge blog contests.
