Featured at Scrapbook Challenges

I got featured of at Scrapbook Challenges for my Fondue layout.  It's funny because I struggled with scrapbooking this photo for so long.  I'm glad the layout turned out so well and it feels great to be recognized.

Gift Opening

I did this layout to show the gift opening after our wedding.  I was amazed by how generous everyone was and it was such a fun this to look forward to after the wedding.

I divided this page into two sections because we did a gift opening with each of our different families.  The left side is my family and the right side is his...or I guess both sides are both of our families.

Lasting Memories Challenge #37

This weeks challenge at Lasting Memories is a photo inspiration for mother's day.  Unfortunately I don't have any new pictures of my mom to scrap for this one but I did use the colour scheme from this photo.

I love the colours in this photo because they are so feminine so I made girly layout of me and my cousin last spring.  I used this Scrapbook Challenges sketch I found on their last blog hop.

Another One Inspired by Scrapbook Challenges

All the inspiration on the Scrapbook Challenges blog hop was overwhelming.  There were so many beautiful layouts and sketches I want to use so I have another layout based on one of their own sketches.

This layout is from a trip to Seattle with my cousin when we went to this dirty little 24 hr bar.  So bad it was good.

Two Challenges in One

I was so excited when I found this page sketch during the Scrapbook Challenges blog hop.  I thought it was great inspiration for a photo I have been trying to scrap for about two years!  Every time I try I find I don't have any inspiration for it...now its finally done.

I used in combination with the From Screen 2 Scrap challenge for Love Actually.

Here is my page!  I love the simplicity and the fun details on the side.  It's great to finally have this layout done.  I am working hard to play catch up so I don't have a million half down albums sitting around...this is one more page down.

My First Lasting Memories Challenge

The topic for this Lasting Memories challenge is "It's All About You".

When is life ever more "all about you" than when you're getting married...NEVER!  This is a page of all the dresses I tried on before I found the one.  There were a lot of No's, a couple Maybe's, but only one YES!

Spring has Sprung...

...and to celebrate I am posting this spring layout from last year.  Me and some girlfriends went to Penticton to float down their channel.  It was a great girls day and a nice way to recover from my friends stagette the night before.  I love spring in BC!
