This weeks challenge over at Lasting Memories is all about distressing. Who doesn't love this fun technique...especially with all the great vintage inspiration out there!
This is a page I did a couple years ago of a trip to the original Starbucks location in Pike Place Market, Seattle. My favourite thing about this page is that I actually used scraps. I cut up a coffee cup and got some coffee bean labels. That in combination with the Starbucks gift bag I tore up for the background gives my page a distressed out fashioned look.

More from Mexico!
Here are a couple more layouts from my honeymoon. It was so much fun making this Mexico album! I am almost sad it is done but you will see some more posts still.
Valladolid
This was a quick little stop in a small Mexican town on our way back from Chichen Itza. I was a nice relaxing end to a busy and fun filled day.
Thanks for stopping by. Have a great day!
Rio Secreto
Mexico's secret underground River's. My husband and I were fortunate enough to get a private tour and I was so happy when even he wants to by the pictures after. I was worried about scrapping these because the coloring and lighting varies so much but I am really happy with how it turned out.

Lasting Memories Challenge #41
This weeks challenge at Lasting Memories has two parts. The first is to use this page sketch. The second is to use bling. I think my layout accomplished both!
...And there is no better time to rock the bling than at a Limo Night with your girlfriends.

Seattle Underground Tour
These photos are from an underground tour in Seattle. I was excited to use some vintage embellishments. I cut up a printed brown paper bag and used it. I love the effect.

Cute Card
I got this cute card idea at a friends shower and had to recreate it. Perfect for any shower or stagette.
It's so easy to make. Just fold a piece of paper in half and trace circles for the boobs and butt shape. Than use some old scraps to form the underwear and line it with some ribbon or lace. My card was too small to do this but you could also add some button details.

Lasting Memories Challenge #40
This weeks challenge at Lasting Memories is all about PAPER PIECING! Here is my DT contribution. I found this paper piecing pattern in a really old copy of Scrapbook Etc and thought it was perfect for this page.
